Just So Know It Really Is Cold Here...

These are photos taken over the past several weekends - makes me cold just looking at the photos again! The first few are from the Hamburg Harbor & Elbe River - cool tug boats and massive container ships in a very icy river.

The others are from the Alster in the center of Hamburg. A friend and I were passing by and saw realized that people were walking on the lake! As a Texas boy, this a bit new for me. So had to pull over and wander out into the lake - it was so cool!! 

Oh, and no, I'm not break dancing... trying to slide but it looks like I'm gettin' jiggy wit it... I'm so photogenic!

For everyone who has heard me whine & moan about the old Dell laptop, the eventual blue screen, the loaner machine from ScaleUp (thanks guys!!!), my short but passionate attempt at Linux Ubuntu - I have finally arrived!! Brand new Macbook Pro 13.

Now, if I could just magically get all the data from those other 2 machines into the Mac!! But, baby steps I guess.

Yep I'm a Texan... (can't you tell how natural it is for me to ride a horse... :)

This is just for you!!! Yes, I realize I'm just sitting on the horse in the pictures - but of course I rounded up the cattle just after the pictures were taken - Yeee Haw!!!
